    Week, as well as recommendations for optimal Parrot welfare based on his experience as an avian vet.

    Veterinary surgeon at Valley Vets, Tariq writes articles for many renowned publications such as The Animal Welfare Foundation and is a committee member at The Parrot Society. His work has been recognised nationally and internationally.

    Tariq has been passionate about animals his entire life.

  • Craig Fraser Young - Professional Bird Trainer

    FREE FLYING PARROT SHOW - 12pm & 3pm

    Craig will be speaking about Parrot training in two demonstrations across the day, both with help from members of his feathered friends. Each talk is designed to demonstrate what you can achieve with right training methods and understanding of your Parrots behaviour.

    Passionate about Parrots and birds from a young age, Craig’s flock includes Conures, Macaws and Cockatoos. He also enjoys caring for Toucans and Hornbills. An in-demand Parrot behaviourist; Craig attends shows all over the country. Plus, he specialises in Parrot behaviour and free flying Parrots. Craig runs private consultations with Parrots and their owners.

    Hosting one of the Masterclass talks, Franz will be speaking about avian nutrition and understanding your Parrot’s diet.

    Franz has been passionate about Parrots since childhood. Whilst keeping Parrots he realised the feed they were getting was completely inadequate. Following years of research, collaborating, and testing the Your Parrot food brand was born.

  • Tom Dutton - Avian Veterinarian

    Hosting one of the Masterclass talks Tom will be speaking about feather

    destructive behaviour in captive Parrots.

    As clinical director of renowned vet clinic Great Western Exotics and as a RCVS and European specialist in avian medicine, Tom’s knowledge and experience is respected around the world.

    Tom regularly provides lectures on all aspects of exotic medicine and care, nationally and internationally, to vets and vet nurses. He supervises the only UK-based European College of Zoological Medicine avian residency programme, helping to train the specialists of the future. Tom regularly publishes articles in the veterinary press and is conducting a number of research projects.
