Inspired by the drama, fun and flair of prime‑time TV, this is where amazing abilities meet stunning looks, and where our feathered friends truly take centre stage.

How to Enter
Entering The Feather Factor is quick and easy. Simply fill in our Online Entry Form , choosing whether your parrot is taking part in the Talent category, the Beauty category - or both. The form will ask for a few basic details about you and your feathered friend, along with information to help our judges understand what makes them special. If your entry is shortlisted, we will contact you and your Parrot will one step closer to taking the spotlight at Think Parrots 2026.
If you are bringing your bird with you, please see bringingabird otherwise you will need to send us the video and photos to support your entry no later than 21st May. E-mails with attachments or links should be sent to featherfactor@thinkparrots.uk. Or uploaded to https://tff.nor.pet/. You can also send via whatsapp or Social Media but please e-mail us as well so we can keep track of your entries.
We reserve the right to limit the number of entries both online and “in parrot” to ensure the best experience for all our visitors and viewers.
Prizes for the Winner in each category

Prize for the Runner-Up in each category
1 small Bag of ZuPreem + a voucher for £25 to spend at Northern Parrots + Think Parrots goodies
Rules of Entry
-
1. There will be two separate “contests”. One for Beauty. One for Talent.
2. There will be no charge to enter either or both contests. The same bird may enter both contests or just one.
3. For practical reasons there will be a maximum of 15 entries in each contest.
4. There will be a prize for the winner and the runner up in each category (4 prizes in total).
5. Only birds listed in the entry form will be eligible to enter.
6. Birds appearing “in person” on the day will need be brought on to the stage, and optionally paraded down the middle aisle of the auditorium. Maximum 2 minutes per bird.
7. Entries to both contests will also be accepted from birds who do not appear “in person” on the day. They will be treated and judged equally to the birds which do appear “in person”. The following additional rules will apply to photo/video entries
i. The person entering the bird must own and care for that bird on 7th June 2026.
ii. Up to 2 minutes of video (with or without sound) and 4 still photographs may be submitted, or a combination thereof.
iii. All photos and videos to be submitted to Northern Parrots no later than 21st May 2026.
iv. No extra photos or videos will be allowed on the day
v. Any photos or videos deemed to be offensive or inappropriate in any way will be disqualified.
8. Entries will be accepted and prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the organiser, and there will be no substitute or cash alternative.
